Approximately 800 persons attended the open house at the Bismarck Air Defense Filter Center here Saturday. Mayor Evan Lips dedicated the newly remodeled headquarters, which includes a vertical board system---a new aircraft tracking system recently adopted by the U.S. Air Force.

Wreckers, with picks and razing tools, are playing havoc with Burleigh County’s historic old courthouse, tearing down its batters old walls, brick by brick. Built in 1880 at the cost of $20,000 it was later enlarged with two small wings; in another ten days all trace of it will be gone.
