What is the Bismarck Historical Society?

Founded in 2005, the mission of the Bismarck Historical Society is to learn, preserve and promote the history of Bismarck, North Dakota.

    Winston Satrom will present a program on the history of the North Dakota State Penitentiary.  More information will be forthcoming.

    Signe Snortland will present a program on winter camps along the Missouri River.  She will also share anecdotes about the Lewis and Clark Expedition when they wintered with the Mandan Indians.  More information will be forthcoming.
